This year is the first year I have attended the Oklahoma City Center IIDA Color & Couture Fashion Show. It is an excellent event to catch up with fellow designers, enjoy a few cocktails, and see some fresh faces strut down the runway for a great cause. The proceeds from the event were donated to Positive Tomorrows, a non profit organization devoted to helping underprivileged children with transitional and educational needs.It is definitely a wonderful event though, handmade gowns of design materials used in residential and commercial design projects like tile, carpet, wood veneer, plastic laminate, rubber base, vinyl wall covering, various upholsteries and much more. It was really fun to see in person this time what the design teams developed.
