Manic Sunday

Today is sunday, and my life is changing today. Ive decided to adopt a cat which I named Tula. She is coming from a litter of 7 kittens, one of which my sister has brought home with her. She and another are coming from Illinois next weekend. Im sure that life will be interesting from now on...

Ive never had a pet other than fish, ok well we babysat a couple of hampsters in my lifetime, but never a full time pet so we will have to see how this goes.

My fiance is leaving for a new job in Dallas which he will start tomorrow. It was a difficult opportunity for him to turn down, as it is a super opportunity for much desired experience in his career goals in life. It will be wierd though not seeing him throughout the week as I normally do. We like to have a nice dinner now and then you know.

I like to think of myself as an individual who can sustain as being somewhat independent. Are any of us really independent? I am an avid fan of Sex and the City - there is much more to it than being girlie girls. I could actually relate to them in some form. Strong independent women who wanted to be independent within a relationship. We all want some sort of independence and to be admired for that. The ability to be strong and deal with all that life brings in, but infact it is those that we do depend on to deliver love, support, and advice.
